1. Enhance and
Improve dialogue between government agencies, ndustry and community groups
regarding the safety of work and home environments.
2. Consult members on developing guidelines,
legislation, policy and standards.
3. Assist development and review Policy
Statements on relevant working environments and the need to manage risks by
individuals in their workplace.
4. Promote the role of SIG Members in
workplace safety and health at all levels in the government, industry and
non-government organisations.
5. Encourage SIG Members to attend relevant
courses, seminars and special events.
6. To distribute information on safety
and health in a timely manner.
