Enhance and Improve dialogue between government agencies, industry and community
groups in the professional management of infrastructure operations, new developments
and community events.
2. Consult members on developing guidelines,
legislation, policy and standards on the use of risk-based management approach.
3. Assist development and review Policy
Statements on relevant development and professional management issues.
4. Promote the role of SIG Members in
Professional Management in at all levels in the government, industry and non-government
organisations.
5. Encourage SIG Members to attend relevant
courses, seminars and special events.
6. To distribute information on professional
management in a timely manner.
7. Facilitate discussions with tertiary institutions
to ensure that a wide professional audience across the entire spectrum of
management courses has an appreciation of environmental impact and environmental
health concerns.
8. To review the course content of tertiary educations
involving studies in all aspects of environmental health and environmental
science.
